Zachary - Master Stylist
Zachary Heil has been a highly sought after stylist for ten years in the Annapolis area, having previously trained under some of the industry’s leading stylists from around the world. Zachary’s specialties are blondes, color, and unique customized haircuts.
Shortly after starting his career, he was approached by one of the world’s ultimate luxury hair care lines, Shu Uemura, to become an educator for the brand. In 2019, he also became an educator for L’Oréal Professionelle. Zachary has done extensive training with the L’Oréal brand throughout the United States, as well as Europe.
Zachary not only holds himself to the highest of industry standards, he also loves what he does.
“I have always said when coming home from either a work trip or personal time off that I am happy to be heading home. Home to me is behind the chair, in the salon. Becoming a co-owner of Studio Thirty Six is the most rewarding step I have taken thus far in my life, and I can not wait to see our family grow.”
Nicole - Master Stylist
Nicole White began her career at 16 and quickly became a Senior Cosmetologist so she could share her passion for teaching by apprenticing others after being so motivated and inspired by her mentors. With 20 years experience, she has trained under L'Oreal Professionnel across the US and Europe under some of the top stylists known in the industry.
Certified in HairTalk extensions, Nicole also specializes in blondes, dimensional color, fantasy color, and creative cutting.

Holly - Master Stylist
With over 30 years of experience in the Annapolis area, Holly is quite the popular artist. Her true passion in hair is creating beautiful, silky blondes, and maintaining the strength and integrity that healthy blonde hair requires. Holly has trained numerous times with Modern Salon’s top 75 National Educators as well as with L’Oréal and Redken. Expect to feel at ease as her smile will brighten your day and enjoy a few laughs as she always has a great story to tell.
Jenn - Master Stylist
With her mother and older sister being hairstylists, Jenny has grown up in the salon industry. Her career began at the very young age of only 14 as a shampoo assistant here in Annapolis. At the age of 19, Jenny began her apprenticeship where she worked under a senior hair stylist for two years gaining hands-on experience to become a licensed hairstylist. Nearly 20 years later, Jenny has further mastered her skills with continuing education training through the Graham Webb Academy, Vidal Sassoon, Redken & L’Oréal. When you sit down in Jenny’s chair you quickly become comfortable and trusting during your in depth consultation. You will find yourself at ease knowing your hair is being meticulously cared for in her hands! Jenny’s specialties include curly hair, long hair, creating natural/lived in color and highlights, as well as precision cuts.
Morgan
Morgan McHale is a Maryland-born hairstylist with a passion for bold transformations, lived in color, and helping people feel like the best version of themselves. She began her career in 2021 as an apprentice under Nicole White and has since built her own space where creativity, comfort, and empowerment come together.
Outside the salon, she’s a homebody at heart, and a lover of the gym, dogs, music, and all things art. Always evolving, Morgan brings that same energy of growth and authenticity into every part of her work.
Olivia
Olivia Ford’s lifelong passion for the beauty industry began in salon settings, where she discovered the powerful impact a stylist can have. She loves building real connections with clients—where everyone she meets feels like family—while delivering fabulous blowouts and helping people feel confident and cared for.
Olivia thrives at Studio Thirty-Six, a place that truly feels like home and fuels her love for making others look and feel their best.
When she’s not behind the chair, you’ll find her hanging out with family and loving on her crew of pets.
Allison
Allison Bertone is a junior hairstylist and blonding specialist based at Studio 36, where she works alongside her mom, Holly Bertone, and lifelong family friends in a warm, welcoming environment. With a cosmetology license from Temple Annapolis, Allison looks forward to building her career around helping clients feel confident, radiant, and like the best version of themselves.
Clients love Allison for her warm personality, attention to detail, and genuine care. Whether she’s behind the chair creating custom color or simply connecting over a conversation about dogs or beach getaways, she brings authenticity and creativity to every appointment.
For Allison, hairstyling is more than just a service—it’s a way to build meaningful connections and celebrate each client’s unique beauty from the inside out.
Jenna
As a long-term client, Jenna has admired the salon’s commitment to exceptional service and now she is beyond excited to be part of that!
Jenna was born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Towson University. In her free time, Jenna enjoys going on walks or playing ball with her dog, Hank.
Jose
Jose has been a shampoo tech and ‘Annapolis shampoo legend’ for over 18 years. He loves coming to work every day because it’s a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. Jose simply feels as if he is at home when entering the salon and not only is surrounded by his salon family but also considers each guest as a part of his family as well.
Jose has created a bond with every guest and provides them with an amazing scalp massage. He ensures each guest is relaxed and taken care of personally from the beginning to the end of their service.
Jose always ensures it’s going to be “A fabulous day at Studio Thirty-Six!”
Baly
Baly, our resident longhaired chestnut dachshund, has become the talk of the town. His hobbies include carrying prized sticks inside to show off, never leaving his father's side other than to greet and check out clients, and moving his bed to sleep in the sunshine. While he may be the smallest member of the team, he is definitely the cutest and most sought after.
